L&N 420000-420014
L&N 420000-420014 (diverted from L&N 105563-105577; to SBD/CSXT 165400-165413)
These 60'-9", 70 ton, hi-cube box cars were built by PS (lot 9749C) in 12/1974. They featured 8'+8' plug doors, H-40 cushioned underframes, waffle sides and 7315 ft3 capacity.
They are listed by Eric Neubauer as "diverted to L&N 420000-420014" thus it is assumed that they were diverted at the factory and never physically wore their "originally intended" numbers. The availability of a PS builder's photo of a car in the L&N 420xxx series seems to confirm this.
