This loco was built in 6/1965 with EMD serial number 30449. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model SD35.

She was renumbered L&N 4509 by the L&N.

She became SBD 4509 at the creation of the Seaboard System railroad.

She became CSXT 4509 at the creation of the CSX railroad.

She was renumbered CSXT 2420 after some sort of rebuild, possibly becoming some sort of hump switcher. More info is needed.
