This loco was built in 9/1963 with EMD serial number 27767. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model GP30.

She was damaged in a wreck in 1974 and rebuilt with an angled cab altering her original appearance.

She became SBD 1375 at the creation of the Seaboard System railroad.
