This loco was built in 2/1953 with EMD serial number 17932. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model GP7.
She was rebuilt by EMD in 10/1954 as a GP9m KCS 162:2, presumably as the result of a wreck early in her career.
She was renumbered to KCS 4162.
She was retired, sold and became KRR 909.
