These drawbar-coupled, Airslide hopper cars were assembled from a variety of original single cars from a variety of origins, but probably most notably former Rock Island cars for fly ash service. They received little more than a simple patch of reporting marks and number leaving their original artwork in place. They featured 2x2600 (5200) ft3 capacity, however, at least a 2002 ORER shows some cars listed as 10,400 ft3 capacity and 440,000 lb. weight limit. This is thought to be a mistake. Much more information needs to be obtained on these cars.
