This loco was built in 12/1957 with EMD serial number 23832. She was built as a road switcher, model GP9.

She was rebuilt by ICG's Paducah, KY shops in 1/1974 as ICG 8443, model GP10.

She was rebuilt again by ICG's Paducah, KY shops (presumably due to wreck damage) in 11/1977 as ICG 8324, model GP10.
