IC 8960

This loco was built in 3/1953 with EMD serial number 17743. She was built as a freight road switcher, model GP7.

She was rebuilt by IC's Paducah, KY shops as IC 7960, model GP8

She was the first IC GP8 to be rebuilt and was one of the very few Paducah rebuilds to NOT receive a chopped nose.
