IC 8909
This loco was built in 4/1953 with EMD serial number 17724. She was built as a dual service road switcher equipped for both freight or passenger service, model GP7. She featured a single control stand, steam generator and roof top air reservoirs as built.
There is some confusion to her subsequent history, but she is generally regarded as having been rebuilt in 10/1971 by IC's Paducah, KY shops as IC 7909, model GP8.
