IC 9510
This loco was built in 2/1970 with EMD serial number 35675. She was built as a road switcher, model GP38AC.
She became ICG 9510 at some point after the IC/GM&O merger.
She was selected to wear red, white and blue Bicentennial colors to celebrate the nation's 200th birthday and renumbered to ICG 1776:1 in early 1975. However, shortly after being repainted on 03/10/1975, she was involved in a serious grade crossing accident so ICG 9503 was repainted and became ICG 1776:2.
It appears as though she was rebuilt and returned to service as ICG 9510 after her wreck although no explicit evidence of this has been located yet.
