G&F 7001-7500

	G&F 7001-7500						(to C&EI 500-599, ca. 11/1938; to C&EI 3600-3609 ca. early 1950's?)

These 40'-6", 40 ton, wood sheathed box cars were built by AC&F (Lot 285) in late 1926. They featured 2926 ft3 capacity and 6' single sliding doors.

A group of 100 of these cars were sold to C&EI as their 500-599 ca. 11/1938.

It appears as though C&EI added Utility loaders and marked ten cars "DF LOADER" and renumbered them to C&EI 3600-3609 in the early 1950's.
