This loco was built in 11/1954 with EMD serial number 19764. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model GP9. She was built with no dynamic brakes and gyralights on the front, with a sealed beam headlight on the rear.

She was rebuilt as a GP10 by IC Paducah shops and became IC 8274.

She became ICG 8274.

She became Georgia & Florida Railnet 8274.
