This loco was built in 6/1964 with EMD serial number 29035. She was built as a demonstrator unit for the SD35 model, however, it has been stated that she may never have actually worn demonstrator paint and was built as an ACL unit.

She became ACL 1000 at some point when that road purchased the demonstrator, which may have happened during her construction.

She became SCL 1900 at some point after the ACL/SAL merger.
