This loco was built in 12/1955 with EMD serial number 20840. She was built as a freight road switcher, model GP9 with a high short hood and no dynamic brakes.

She was retired, sold to ICG, rebuilt by Paducah Shops to a GP10 and became ICG 8395 in 8/1976.
