This loco was built in 12/1952 with EMD serial number 16964. She was built as a freight road switcher, model GP7 with a high short hood and no dynamic brakes.

She was retired, sold to ICG, rebuilt by Paducah Shops to a GP8 and became ICG 7985 in 12/1972.

She became CC 7985.

She became CC 1585.

She became IC 8415.
