This loco was built in 8/1951 with EMD serial number 14717. She was built as a freight road switcher, model GP7 with a high short hood and no dynamic brakes.

She was retired, sold to ICG, rebuilt by Paducah Shops to a GP10 and became ICG 7708 in 6/1975.
