These 86'-6", 55 ton hi-cube box cars were built by PS (lot 8950F) in 2/1965. They featured 2x20' plug doors, H-40 cushioned underframes and 10000 ft3 capacity.

In 1972, all 9 cars went to the UP as their class BF-70-2D numbered above their own BF-70-2 class cars.
