These 40-6", 50 ton, box cars were built by Mt. Vernon in 1/1947 as class FB6. They featured 10' inside height, riveted construction, 6' Youngstown doors, Universal hand brakes, Apex Tri-Lok running boards, double-truss spring plankless trucks and 3712 ft3 capacity.

Intermountain has released a RTR model of a the AAR 10' inside height, post-war 40' box car painted and detailed for this group. See below:
