This loco was built in 8/1951 with EMD serial number 14657. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model GP7. She was sublettered CHTT.

She was rebuilt in 6/1959 to a GP9 (presumably due to a wreck) assigned a new serial number (EMD 25460) but retained her original number.

She was wrecked in late 1963 and traded to EMD as credit on a new GP35.
