This loco was built in 4/1950 with EMD serial number 10249. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model GP7.

She was rebuilt in 8/1958 to a GP9 (presumably due to a wreck) assigned a new serial number (EMD 24753) but retained her original number.

She became MP 86 as a GP9.

She was traded in to EMD and presumed scrapped.
