C&EI 1609
This loco was built in 8/1949 with EMD serial number 7544. She was built as a passenger cab, model FP7.
She became MP 942.
Something strange appears to have happened to this locomotive, as records indicate a second C&EI 1609 was built (rebuilt?) by EMD in 1/1952. If you have more information on this, please let me know so I can update this page.
