CB&Q 170500-171849						(to BN 516000-516399)

These 3-bay, 70 ton, open hopper cars were built by CB&Q Havelock Shops in 1948-1951. They featured 2773 ft3 capacity. They were assigned to CB&Q class HT-10.

Many of these cars were rebuilt by BN in the 1970's. and placed in various BN number series. They seem to have lost their offset sides at rebuild.
