CB&Q 43600-44199					(to BN 248000-248199 in 1975, stretched to 50')

These 40'-6", 55 ton, box cars were re-built by Chicago Freight Car in late 1966-early 1967 from a variety of cars from various builders and both 10'-0" and 10'-6" IH cars. They emerged featuring xxxx.

A groups of 200 cars were returned to Chicago Freight Car in 1975 and stretched to 50' and given new 10' sliding doors. The lease 10-year lease on these cars was terminated early. It is not known where they went after they were returned to CFC.
