This loco was built in 10/1967 with EMD serial number 33355. She was built as a freight roadswitcher, model GP38.

For some reason, she was replaced by B&O 3837:2 early in her career in 7/1971. It is theorized that this was the result of an offline wreck that caused her to be scrapped and the offline road was deemed responsible, so had to replace her. More information is needed on this situation.
