These 3-bay, 100 ton, covered hoppers were built by Thrall in 9-11/1979. They featured 4750 ft3 capacity.
Car BN 448616 rebuilt by Thrall 1/1986 for experimental grain/coil steel service with strengthened slope sheets and sides and removable fiberglass roof. She was wrecked in a derailment on the AT&SF in Texas in spring 1990 and scrapped thereafter.
