The purpose is to present information helpful to the freight car modeler or historian. Submissions are always welcome.

I have had designs on covering the Santa Fe railroad in some way for a long time. Well, I am officially starting that effort today in honor of the passing of a well known model railroader and Santa Fe fan Andy Sperandeo. Andy was from New Orleans, worked at Hub Hobby Shop when he was younger, I believe got a Journalism degree and went on to become editor of Model Railroader magazine at a time before the internet when people got information about real and model trains from magazines. I had the opportunity to operate with him several times on my friend Lou Schultz's C&O railroad. I am saddened to hear of his passing. Clear signals, Andy.
