This loco was built in 5/1951 with EMD serial number 13949. She was built as a freight roadswitcher equipped for passenger service with a steam generator, model GP7.

She became SCL 762.

She was rebuilt into a GP16 by SCL Uceta, FL Shops in 10/1980 and became SCL 4735.

She became SBD 4735.

She became CSXT 1781.

She was retired on 02/18/1993, sold and became RJCR 1608.
