The LUCX, Inc. Freight Cars Page
Welcome to the LUCX, Inc. Freight Cars Page. This company operated a fleet of tank cars and covered hopper cars. The story as I have heard it is that the company was owned by a lady name Lucy. A quick check of the ORER listed Lucille J. Boston as president. The company was apparently started in the late 1960's or early 1970's based on presence or absence from ORER's that I have. The company name was later changed to Railroad Car Management Company, Inc. based on an entry in my October 1983 ORER. In my July 1989 ORER, the re-named company also rostered cars bearing RCMX reporting marks.
