Welcome to the Cabot (CABX) Carbon Back and Fumed Silica Cars Page.
The Cabot Corporation is a major player in the production and distribution of carbon black and other related fine particle products. They operate carbon black plants throughout the United States and the rest of the world. See the Cabot Corporation web site. Since two of their plants (North Bend, LA and Ville Platte, LA) are both near where I live, I have opportunity to see and photograph many of their fleet of carbon black hoppers. I have recently added coverage of fumed silica cars to this page.
