Welcome to the American Cyanamid Locos Page. American Cyanamid operated a fleet of locomotives to switch their plant or plants. They were issued the reporting marks CYX for their fleet of freight cars. It is not known if their switch engines were specifically assigned or lettered with these marks, but they will be used here until further information can be obtained.
There is little if any remnants of the company or brand today as they were merged into American Home Products in 1994. Most of what was once American Cyanamid is part of the Pfizer since 2009.
