While I have been very open to publishing my e-mail address on my web site for all who peruse to correspond with me, the volume of spam has forced me into new and innovative ways to filter this nuisence. In lieu of actually placing a link to my e-mail address on my web page, you must view it from this page and type it into your e-mail application yourself. I know that this adds an otherwise unnecessary step to communication, but I hope that it will cut down on some of the barrage of garbage that greets me in my inbox on a daily basis. By the way, the best way to stop spam (and junk mail, and phone solicitors, etc.) is to not respond to it.

To e-mail me, type in my address as railgoat, followed by the symbol which will not be mentioned (hint, it's above the 2 on your keyboard), followed by my domain, which is bellsouth, followed by (VERY IMPORTANT) a dot and a net. I hope that this is not too cryptic, but it is simply intended to mask my address to mindless trawling computers that seek out e-mail addresses on web pages to populate their mailing lists. The good news is that once you've added me to your address book, all that you need to do to send me a message is to click on my name from there.
