Louisiana & Delta locomotive 2009 was originally built as GP35 SP 7779 in Nov 1965 with frame number 7808-18. It was later renumbered to SP 6676 in 1965. It went to Omni Trax in June 1995 and then to Utah RR as UTAH 2009 in Feb 1999 before coming to L&D in Feb 2005 as LDRR 2009. It still has yet to be repainted from its Utah Railroad livery, only having LDRR reporting marks added.
