Louisiana & Delta locomotive 2000 was originally built as GP38 C&O 3869 in Nov 1967 with frame number 7060-70. It was later renumbered to CSXT 2069. It went through a succession of shortlines and leasing companies including Helm Leasing (HATX 107,) Colonel's Island RR (CISD 2000) and Rail Link (RLIX 2000) before coming to L&D in 2000 as LDRR 2000.
