Louisiana & Delta locomotive 1707 is a rebuilt, chop-nosed GP10-1, originally built as GP9 IC 9004 in Apr 1954 with frame number 5307-5. It was rebuilt as GP10 8110 in Jul 1968. It may have become ICG 7735 after the IC/GM&O merger. It was sold to Iowa Interstate Railroad as IAIS 404 in Oct 1984. It was sold to Helm Leasing in Jun 1994. It may have also spent time working on the East Tennessee Railway (ETRY) and the Meridian and Bigbee (MNBR) wearing number 7735 as well. It came to L&D in 2010 and was assigned number LDRR 1707.
