LDRR 1514
Louisiana & Delta locomotive 1514 is a former ATSF CF7, originally built as ATSF F7A 243 in Jan 1951. It was rebuilt by Santa Fe as CF7 2589 in Dec 1972. It was subsequently sold to MidSouth Railroad as their engine 7014 in Jan 1988. It came to L&D in Feb 1994 and was assigned number LDRR 1514, however, it ran as LDRR 7014 for a short time and was relettered Genesee & Wyoming Switching Service (GWSS) 1514 and sent off to work the plastics store in transit (SIT) yard at Dayton, TX. It returned to L&D in Mar 1998. It was probably letterd LDRR 1514 shortly after that.
