Louisiana & Delta locomotive 1513 is a former ATSF CF7, originally built as ATSF F7A 216C in Nov 1949. It was rebuilt by Santa Fe as CF7 2566 in Jun 1973. It was subsequently sold to MidSouth Railroad as their engine 7013 in Jan 1988. It came to L&D in Feb 1994 and was assigned number LDRR 1513, however, it ran as LDRR 7013 for a short time and was relettered Genesee & Wyoming Switching Service (GWSS) 1513 and sent off to work the plastics store in transit (SIT) yard at Dayton, TX. It returned to L&D in Mar 1998. It was probably letterd LDRR 1513 shortly after that.
