LDRR 1512
Louisiana & Delta locomotive 1512 is a former ATSF CF7, originally built as ATSF F7A 204 in Jul 1949. It was rebuilt by Santa Fe as CF7 2577 in Apr 1973. It was subsequently sold to MidSouth Railroad as their engine 7008 in Jan 1988. It came to L&D in Feb 1994 and was assigned number LDRR 1512, however, it ran as LDRR 7008 for a short time and was relettered Genesee & Wyoming Switching Service (GWSS) 1512 and sent off to work the plastics store in transit (SIT) yard at Dayton, TX. It returned to L&D in Mar 1998. It was probably letterd LDRR 1512 shortly after that. It carried the name "Bill Sjolander" at some point during its time at Dayton, TX.
