Louisiana & Delta locomotive 1510 is a former ATSF CF7, originally built as ATSF F7A 244C in Jan 1951. It was rebuilt by Santa Fe as CF7 2586 in Jan 1973. It was subsequently sold to MidSouth Railroad as their engine 7006 in Jan 1988. It came to L&D in Feb 1994 and was assigned number LDRR 1510, however, it ran as LDRR 7006 for a short time and was relettered Genesee & Wyoming Switching Service (GWSS) 1510 and sent off to work the plastics store in transit (SIT) yard at Dayton, TX. It returned to L&D in Mar 1998. It was probably letterd LDRR 1510 shortly after that.
