Louisiana & Delta locomotive 1508 is a former ATSF CF7, originally built as ATSF F7A 227L in Mar 1950. It was rebuilt by Santa Fe to as CF7 2621 in May 1972. It was subsequently sold to MidSouth Railroad as their engine 7003 in 1987. It came to L&D in Feb 1994 and was assigned number LDRR 1508, however, it ran for a short time as LDRR 7003. After being repainted into L&D colors, it carried the name "Delcambre" on its cab.
