Timetables of the Lafayette Division
Each division of a particular railroad has a set of instructions unique to that piece of railroad that gives instructions to employees on vital information on the operation of the railroad. This information usually includes a station listing showing milepost locations and schedules of trains. It also includes special instructions such as location of wayside detectors, special procedures and grade profiles. Over the years, the SP's Lafayette Division has been a stand alone division rating its own timetable and combined with the Houston Division to form the Houston and Lafayette Division and lumped in with every other division in the Eastern Region timetable.
