Trains of the Lafayette Division
From the origins of the SP's Lafayette Division in the early 1850's, trains were moved along this (mostly) single track railroad by timetable authority. This procedure continued into approx 1981 when the schedules were officially removed from the timetables and all trains were run as extras. Even Amtrak's
