The very first project I was assigned to work when I hired on full-time as a field engineer at JRM was the Exxon Mobile Bay Project. We used the Derrick Barge 16 to install around a dozen small shallow water platforms just off the coast of Dauphin Island, Alabama during the summer of 1992. We also set the jacket portion of the large, central production platform that was later floated over.
