The Derrick Barge 50 was certainly the flagship of the J. Ray McDermott Gulf of Mexico construction fleet. I was involved with many projects on the "50" during my career. With her massive 4400 short ton lift capacity and ultra flexible dynamic positioning mode, she could handle the smallest to the largest jobs with ease.
