D&RGW 5399

This loco was built in 3/1980 with EMD frame number 786264-2. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time black paint with xxxx herald and featured a full a sealed beam headlight and nose-mounted gyralight on the front end and a sealed beam headlight on the rear end.

She was painted into SP grey and red with SP Speed Lettering after the SP/D&RGW merger and had her nose-mounted gyralight removed.
