D&RGW GP7 renumbering

D&RGW GP7 renumbering:

Early in the career of D&RGW 5104, she was apparently involved in some sort of mishap that required her to be rebuilt. Probably due to a stipulation in the locomotive trust, she was given the new number D&RGW 5100 and recapitolized. The next order of GP7's started off at her old number requiring a distinction of 5104:1 and 5104:2. Photos of 5104:1 must be quite rare as she wore that number for such a short time. I would like to know what if any differences in external appearance there were between her as-built configuration and her rebuilt configuration.
