AC&F CF5700 Covered Hoppers:
American Car & Foundry's CF5700 4-bay covered hoppers were primarily designed to carry lower density cargo such as plastic resins. They were built from 1968 to 1972 with 1250 cars built in that time span. The CF5700 was succeeded by the CF5701 model in 1972, some of which were also labeled as 5700 ft3, but it is a distinct variation.
